The various kinds of bins
Since the implementation of individual containers on our territory, homes are equipped with one bin for the household refuse and with another one for the selective collection of the packaging:
a green, blue or garnet-colored garbage bin (color depending on the commune) intended for domestic refuse.
a yellow bin intended for the sorting of the recyclable domestic packaging.
collective glass containers are intended to collect only certain glass objects : bottles, flasks and jars.
the other waste must be brought to the closest waste reception center from your home.
There are several formats of containers :
40 liters (yellow or black),
120 liters (grey tank with a yellow, green, blue or garnet-colored lid),
180 liters (grey tank with a yellow, green, blue or garnet-colored lid),
180 liters, brown (tank and lid) with a lock, for the professionals,
240 liters (grey tank with a yellow, green, blue or garnet-colored lid),
240 liters, brown (tank and lid) with a lock, for the professionals,
340 liters (grey tank with a yellow, green, blue or garnet-colored lid),
340 liters, brown (tank and lid) with a lock, for the professionals,
660 liters (grey tank with a yellow, green, blue or garnet-colored lid),
660 liters, blue (tank and lid) lent to the municipalities for the festivities,
660 liters, grey (tank and lid) for the campsites,
660 liters, brown (tank and lid) with a lock, for the professionals.
